Speaking of Research needs your help. We need students and scientists on campuses around the country to start speaking up for the use of animals in medical research.
Firstly, to get the latest news, join the Speaking of Research Facebook Group. Here you can discuss the issue of animal research, and advocacy, among your peers. Show your support for medical research by joining the group (and remember to invite your friends).
We also need people to help write for the website. The news stories don’t write themselves, and we need your help to write about new medical breakthroughs, animal rights activism, and the national debate on animal research. Please contact us if you’re interested in writing for the website.
By clicking On Your Campus you can find ways in which you can support life-saving research at your university – from organizing debates to writing letters to your student newspaper.
By clicking Join the committee, you can find out how to become even more involved with the Speaking of Research movement. We are in the process of organizing Speaking of Research “chapters” at universities around the country – would you like to head up one in your area? Click Join the committee to find out more.
You can also read about our current campaigns by clicking here. Speaking of Research cannot challenge all animal rights misinformation by ourselves. We need your help. Check out some ways you can do this on the Current Campaign tab.
