Washington State: Speaking to Students, Speaking of Research

Earlier today, I spoke on the Dave Ross show at 9:35am. Mp3s will be available on his website soon (listen here). We covered animal activism in the UK and USA, as well as the importance of animals in the development of modern medicine, and why scientists and students need to stand up for biomedical research. However this was only a appetizer for the main event.

Today at midday (12-1pm, Monday, April 21st), I am speaking to students on the University of Washington campus, Hogness Auditorium (Health Sciences A420) on the subject of standing up for lifesaving animal research. It is a ticketed event (admission is free), and tickets are available until 11:59am from http://www.wanprc.org. See attachment for the University of Washington flyer regarding this event.

Tom Holder will speak on the University of Washington campus on Monday, April 21, noon – 1pm in Hogness Auditorium (Health Sciences A420, regarding the importance of animal research and the importance ofto fight against a small, but loud and violent, group of animal activists.

Cheers
Tom
